Class: Contact Improvisation @ Oslo, Norway

Come warm up and practice techniques for CI jamming! This Sunday Sebastian will lead "Evolutionary Dance: Crawling & Climbing in CI.” We will practice floorwork, partner suspension, and the use of the body masses for dynamic counterbalance.

For movers, dancers, yogis and other humans. All levels and beginners welcome. Followed by the weekly CI Jam from 7:00-9:00pm.

Sebastian has been teaching dance and healthy movement principles since 2007. He recently moved to Copenhagen and is excited to share this work in Oslo for the first time.

ABOUT the TEACHER

Sebastian Grubb is an award-winning dance artist and movement coach based in Copenhagen and California. He teaches integrated movement technique to people of all kinds via personal coaching, weekly classes and transformative workshops. From 2007-2019 Sebastian choreographed, performed and toured contemporary dance works throughout the U.S. and internationally. From 2008-2024 he ran an outdoor workout company in San Francisco, then made Denmark his permanent home in 2025. He has been a long-term student of Scott Wells (improvisation and acrobatics) and Frey Faust (functional anatomy and dance research), among other influential teachers. He is the founder of Agile Beast and co-founder of Spiral Camp, both of which focus on making skills and techniques for dynamic movement accessible to all participants.
