As terrestrial vertebrates, our ability to move depends on skeletal joints with non-uniform morphology. The curved, irregular surfaces of joint facings allow for the complex internal movement that we use to locomote and survive on Earth. In this class, we'll examine the mobility potential of the spine and its role in organizing our arms and legs for walking, running, and dancing.
