Develop your dance practice by embodying principles from anatomical science and biomechanics. Learn to move with more ease, vigor and grace. Find pleasure in your movement and build the resilience, integration and coordination of your full body. All levels welcome. Drop-ins welcome.

10am-12pm, all* Wednesdays April/May/June. [*No class May 29th.]

April: C-Star and Fractal Friends

-Learn the quintessential Axis Syllabus movement pattern and how to modify and complicate it, how to use it to warm-up and train skeletal alignment, and numerous athletic applications.

May: Dynamic Postures: Swimming Through Space

-A life-long practice is presented via studying posture transitions and how to move healthfully and creatively from lying on the ground to sitting, crouching, standing, jumping, climbing…

June: Sensing Environments with Hands & Feet

-Tap into your ancestral legacy as a terrestrial biped with quadrupedal tendencies! This month will focus on educating our hands and feet as essential structures that interact with the environment to flow information toward our center(s).
